Most of us have seen the heartbreaking picture - a dead albatross, revealing an unbelievable amount of plastic trash within its decomposed body. This poignant photograph shows us the destructive power of our society’s mass consumption and our damaged relationship with the living world.

Eight years later, Chris Jordan invites us to explore the story beyond this photograph - the movie ALBATROSS tells the environmental tragedy of ocean plastic pollution and destruction of beautiful life happening on Midway Island.

After traveling around the world and showings across international stages like the United Nations on World Oceans’ Day, ALBATROSS and the film’s creator Chris Jordan finally come to Berlin! ALBATROSS (97 minutes) is a powerful love story that brings viewers together into a shared space of connection and reverence. Come with us on a journey through the eye of beauty. Across an Ocean of grief, and beyond.
